Online tests: Candidate is required to take online test but cannot click through from Candidate portal

There are some occasions when a candidate has been invited to take an online test but the “action required” message in the candidate portal doesn’t appear, so they can't take the assessment.

The cause of this issue is often due to the vacancy not being set up to use online tests. In order to check this, you will need to identify the correct vacancy and click on the edit vacancy icon to check the vacancy settings.

Edit the vacancy and ensure that the relevant online tests are selected and then save and close.

If the candidate is still in the "Invited to tests" folder, they should be then able to take the test via the candidate portal.  However it is obviously advisable to let the candidate know that they may now continue either by calling them or sending them an email.
