SMS fails to send.

A SMS is most likely to fail if the user doesn’t have a value saved against the user’s default.

 

You have two options:

 

  1. Change the template to not be sent from a user's default identity, so if a user doesn't change the SMS to be sent from their default identity, it will be sent from the standard identity on the template (which you can be sure will always have a valid "SMS Send From" field.

 

  1. Update all relevant users to ensure that they have data in their User set up for the "SMS Send From" field.
